Editorial Policy
People make decisions about their care based on pages like these. Here is how ours are written, who reviews them, and how to tell us when we get something wrong.
People make decisions about their own care, or a family member's, based on what they read on sites like this one. That is a serious responsibility, so this page sets out how our content is written, reviewed and corrected.
Clinical content is drafted with input from the people who deliver the care it describes, then checked against published medical sources before it goes live. We describe what we actually provide. If a service is not offered here, we do not write a page targeting it.
Pages describing conditions or treatment are reviewed by Pamela Tambini, MD, who is board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Reviewed pages carry the reviewer's name and the date of review at the foot of the page.
Where we make a clinical claim we link to the evidence beside it, so you can check it yourself rather than take our word for it. We prefer, in order:
We do not cite our own marketing material as evidence, and we do not quote success rates. Recovery outcomes vary between people, and a facility quoting a single success-rate figure is telling you more about its marketing than its clinical care.
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email corrections@thewellnessranchky.com. Substantive corrections update the review date on the page concerned.
We do not sell advertising, accept sponsored content, or take payment for placement on this site. Every link here points either to our own pages or to a medical source we cite as evidence.
