Residential
When outpatient care isn't enough, a change of environment can change everything. Our residential mental health treatment surrounds you with 24/7 psychiatric care in a calm, home-like ranch sanctuary — the space and support to finally focus on you.

Conditions
As a dedicated mental health treatment center, we provide intensive, live-in care for depression and a full range of co-occurring conditions:
Round-the-clock care for major depression, including the days when getting out of bed is the whole task. Psychiatry reviews medication, therapy runs daily, and the structure of the day does some of the work for you. The National Institute of Mental Health explains what depression is and how it is treated.
Generalized anxiety, panic disorder and social anxiety, treated with cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure work and medication where it helps. NIMH has an overview of anxiety disorders and their treatment.
We are one of the few residential PTSD treatment centers, offering trauma-informed care in a setting where you are not going home to the trigger at the end of each session. NIMH describes post-traumatic stress disorder and evidence-based treatments.
Stabilization, medication management and psychoeducation for bipolar I and II and related mood disorders, with psychiatry on site rather than a month between appointments. NIMH covers bipolar disorder and how it is managed.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, treated in their own right and not only as something alongside a substance use problem.
Dialectical behavior therapy and long-form individual work for borderline and other personality disorders, delivered by a team that has done it before.
How we treat
We treat the whole person, blending proven clinical therapies with restorative holistic ones. NIMH maintains an overview of the psychotherapies used in mental health treatment, including the CBT below:

A day at the ranch
Your days follow a gentle, structured rhythm — individual and group therapy, holistic sessions, chef-prepared meals, and quiet time on acres of open, wooded grounds. Structure and serenity, working together to help you heal.

Who we help
We tailor treatment to the pressures and responsibilities unique to who you are — professionals, veterans, first responders, women, men, young adults, and college students.
Common questions
Residential treatment is live-in care: you stay on site and receive structured therapy with 24/7 clinical support, rather than travelling to appointments. It suits people whose symptoms are severe, or for whom outpatient care has not been enough.
Length of stay is personalized. Your clinical team sets a timeline around your goals and your progress, and reviews it with you as you go rather than fixing it on day one.
The terms are often used interchangeably. Both mean you live on-site with round-the-clock support; "residential" emphasizes our calm, home-like setting rather than a clinical hospital environment.
